Mnangagwa's govt must create employment

EDITOR — Zimbabwe’s labour market is tottering on the edge of a financial precipice.  This is shattering so many dreams and aspirations. Forget about the official and unofficial national statistics on the rate of  unemployment in Zimbabwe and check the reality on the ground.  So what is the solution? If the problem is caused by sanctions, for how long should we sing the same song without getting an answer to the problem?

It’s a shame as a country when degreed people roam the streets all day and everyday without a glimmer of hope of ever doing what they studied at university. Our education is slowly losing meaning for so many graduates. The challenges we faced in implementing the so-called mega deals makes me wonder if promises made by the Chinese would see the light of day.

It is sad to see our country creating a world of highly educated but iddle people.  After the dog-eat-dog factional and succession wars, soft coups, within MDC , Zanu PF, unemployment would be still there in front of our policy makers.

For how long should our graduates crisscross the globe scavenging for leftovers in foreign lands or live and work at the mercy of regime change-masters?
