Let's spread good news from the word of God

EDITOR — Old Testament prophets were often statesmen, authors, reformers, and preachers. They were used to turn God’s people back to Him. They appealed primarily to Israel’s past and her future, with striking similarities for us today.  They had a true call from God;  whereas those attempting to speak without God’s seal of approval were false prophets ( Jeremiah 1 and Isaiah 6).

A test a true prophet was their character and the fulfilment of what they said . . . did it line up with the heart of God.  For example, the false prophets in Jeremiah’s day were telling people that everything was fine; that God was somewhat of a doting grandfather winking at sin and looking the other way.

They would manipulate the people for financial and personal gain. Sound familiar?

The modern prophets are requesting a fee for one-on-one. Is this still the gospel of our Lord Jesus.  The business of the gospel is bringing souls unto Christ. Matthew 28 vs 19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

The few labours in the vineyard are now running parallel structures which are against the word of God. People are asking a certain fee to see the man of God. No money, you can’t be the man/woman of God.

The gospel has been commercialised .
Luke 10 vs 22 He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

Matthew 10: 5 These 12 Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. 7 As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. “

Freely you have received; freely give. The Holy Bible never mentioned pay to receive the salvation ,to get healing/to see the man/woman of God.

No matter how powerful you are, whether you are moving mountains but as long as you make people to pay a fee to see you as a pastor or you are selling anointed mantles —  hell is waiting for you better repent while time is still there.

John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

2 Cor. 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Romans 8:2-4 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh”.

Pastors and prophets go back to the basic foundation of the gospel . You don’t want to carry the Cross. The sheep no longer have the shepherds.  The ones called are also now competing with those in occultism. Anything outside the word of God is occultism .
The gifts of God are without repentance.

Truly some of them are gifted in miracles but it’s not a green a light to do what you want.  Why all those anointed materials are being sold in the church or charge a fee on one-on-one? Something anointed it’s not for sale. James 5 vs 14 mentions the use of oil. But was it for sale.

Pastors do the right thing if you are really from God  not competing with the world to enrich yourself in ways which are unbiblical
