Open letter to Obert Gutu

EDITOR — I direct this letter to Obert Gutu. It is a known fact that you, Obert Gutu, pictured, hate your former party, the mainstream Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) under the leadership of Nelson Chamisa to the bone, but to say you would rather share a table with Zanu PF leader President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is allegedly responsible for  the killing of innocent, defenceless civilians is baffling.

I understand you also said you cannot live in Zimbabwe if it is under the leadership of an MDC leader. Such statements make it  obvious that you have been smoking something very dangerous to your health.

Slow down Gutu, every other sane Zimbabwean would wish for the quickest removal of Mnangagwa and Zanu PF from the throne, yet you judge the MDC worse than Zanu PF.  How many Zimbabweans did Zanu PF kill, including those who were killed before and during the inclusive government that saw you appointed as deputy minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, let alone those who were killed during Gukurahundi.

Good luck in your glossing over of the atrocities committed by Zanu PF, in which your new found friend Mnangagwa played a crucial role.
Mnangagwa still refuses to apologise for the key role he allegedly played in the deaths of thousands in Matabeleland.
Good luck on your future political career Gutu.
KK.
