JP's outfit causes stir

CONTEMPORARY musician Jah Prayzah was over the weekend subject to a social media frenzy over an outfit he dons in his latest video Chikomo which was released yesterday.

Chikomo is the fourth video off his 2018 album Chitubu after Dzamutsana, Follow Me and Kunerima which have all been embraced by music lovers.

What has captured the eyes of many is the white flowing outfit that Jah Prayzah or simply JP is putting on that sent tongues wagging with people seeking to know its label or designer.

A photograph of the musician in the white robe started circulating on social media over the weekend giving rise to different interpretations.

Several graphics where made including the pfuko maheu creation being put side by side with his photograph.
Some suggested that the musician was wearing a female outfit.
“The outfit has no name but we will find one for it,” Keen Mushapaidze JP’s manager said.

“This is the fourth video off the album Chitubu. The visuals were done in Nyanga and Kariba,” he added.

On his video Kunerima which featured radio personality Misred, rumour and pictures circulated before the video, creating anticipation among his fans.

This has helped hyping his work before the official release.
“We know people will talk and we are not worried because it will be serving a purpose,” he added.

Kunerima had a vintage setup which was also shown in JP’s outfits and vehicles in the video.
As for their future plans, Mushapaidze said they will be announcing when something comes up.
