Naxo defines video production

HARARE - Popular video and film producer Tamuka Hove better known as Naxo Films believes creativity and quality is the reason behind successful videos. The young producer is taking the industry by storm, making trending videos. His work ethic has made him more popular with artistes, cutting across genres.

Some film and video makers have of late been under severe criticism for allegedly favouring some big musicians’ projects at the expense of others. He says respect of artistes is his motto no matter their status in the industry.

“Video production is an interesting art which requires a holistic approach and cooperation from all quarters. Creativity is important for every successful video or song. I’m happy that my art is being recognised as artistes keep coming for my service,” he said.

So far this year, Naxo has done videos for Baba Harare’s Ramba Wakadzvanya, Greatman’s Gegede, Tapiwa Freddy’s Ngatipemberere and several others. He has done work for musicians such as Andy Muridzo, Mathias Mhere and several others.
He is also behind Baba Harare’s popular video The Reason Why.

Naxo acknowledges competition in the industry and he believes quality makes his work exceptional. “I believe in quality and 100 percent commitment to my work. There is great competition in the industry and quality makes the difference. I believe respecting every industry player is important for growth and reputation,” he said.

“This year I have done several videos for several artistes and some are still on their way. “I have done work for Baba Harare, Prophet Freddy and Greatman and some videos are still being edited.
“I invest in quality hence will continue investing in new and advanced machinery,” he said.
