Musarara bags Industrialist award

HARARE - Grain Millers Association (GMAZ) of Zimbabwe chairperson Tafadzwa Musarara is this year’s winner of the Megafest Industrialist Award.

Accepting the award in Harare last week, the GMAZ boss said he wanted to dedicate this award to all service delivery vans that go around to make sure that enough maize-meal, flour, salt is delivered in all shops across the country.

“The country needs 1,8 million loaves of bread a day and whenever there is shortage we are labelled saboteurs and it is for that reason that this award is also dedicated to the shop floor personnel that works in all milling plants throughout the country,” said Musarara.

He added that in the near future they are going to assist farmers grow enough cereals so that the country becomes self-sustainable and at the same time boosting nutrition.

Megafest awards are given to outstanding entities and individuals in all sectors of the economy.
