CCDZ constructs school block in Mbire

HARARE - Centre for Community Development in Zimbabwe (CCDZ) is constructing a classroom block at Mariga Primary School in Kanyemba, Mbire District.

The intervention is meant to improve access to education for Doma children, the inhabitants of Mariga area.

Kanyemba is bordered by Mozambique to the east and Zambia to the north.

CCDZ successfully lobbied the government for the opening of Mariga Primary School as a satellite for Chapoto Primary School.

However, the shortage of classrooms remains a challenge as the school is yet to be completed.

The classroom block that CCDZ is building will go a long way in improving the learning environment for children.
