Music galore at agric show

HARARE - Sungura kingpin Alick Macheso will showcase on the closing day of the ongoing Harare Agricultural Show together with Zimdancehall songstress Ninja Lipsy.

The two will share the stage on Saturday between 1845 and 2300 hours in the Glamis Arena.

Since the 108 edition of the agricultural show kicked off on Monday, different musicians took turns entertaining the crowds at Glamis Arena.

Dendera musician Suluman Chimbetu broke the ice on Monday.

He showcased his musical skills between 1845 hours and 2000 hours during the Finance and Insurance Day powered by First Mutual Life, Homelink and Psmas.

Rising afro-fusion musician Andy Muridzo showcased yesterday from 1845 hours to 2000 hours during the Manufacturing and Retailers Day powered by PPC.

Today, Zimdancehall chanter Killer T will showcase at the same venue from 1845 hours and 2000 hours during the Buy Zimbabwe Day powered by Local Product Manufacturers.

Seh Calaz and Ex Q will share the stage tomorrow from 1845 to 2000 hours during the Mining and Agriculture/Mutualism Day powered by Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company.

On Friday, high ridding musicians Jah Prayzah and Jah Signal share the stage from 1845 hours to 2200 hours during the Official Opening: The Patron’s Day.

Meanwhile, traditional dance groups including nyau, muchongoyo, mbende-jerusarema, chinyambera, chimtali and dinhe ensembles take turns to entertain patrons throughout the show-week courtesy of Zimbabwe National Traditional Dancers Association.
