Congratulations to ZANU PF . I am told that banks are now awash with cash..... and and I am also informed that rural folk will now get jobs easily because industries will son be opened for them . In any case they were given packets of maize seed so they will have enough food come next year.

According to a BBC correspondent in Harare, MDC leaders raised expectations too high without proper judgement or justification. Two thirds of Zimbabwean voters are in rural areas and that is where Zanu PF is very strong. Allegations of rigging are baseless because so far there is no proof.

Ndiani Ndiani - 1 August 2018

If I was ZANU PF, I would be embarrassed, these guys don't have a face, rigging results in daylight. Daylight robbery. SHAME Mnangagwa and Chiwenga, people have told you right in your faces, they don't want you. Zvakaoma vedu Why Zimbabwe, Why Zimbabwe, Why Zimbabwe, why have these rulers decided to take the ungodly route. They will not be able to change anything in this country because the people and God are not on their side. This I bet Chiwenga and Mnangagwa. MP we Zanu is also surprised by the results here because he knew he had lost.

Ballista - 1 August 2018

THIS RESULT IS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WE VOTED FOR. THIS IS TOTAL NONSENSE.

mbano - 1 August 2018

BUT THE INTERNAIONAL COMMUNITY IS WATCHING ZANU PF RIG ELECTIONS, DAY LIGHT RIGGING LIKE THIS.

mbavha dzeZanu - 1 August 2018

SHAME SHAME ED SAKA HAUNYARE HERE, CAN YOU LOOK ZIMBABWEANS IN THEIR FACES AND SAY I AM THE PRESIDENT WHEN YOU KNOW IT INSIDE YOU THAT PEOPLE DID NOT VOTE FOR YOU.

Nana - 1 August 2018

This time around NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO to fake results. We are not going to accept.

ZEC commissioners are todays Judas Iscariot. They have sold the country for silver. Look at their ages, they cant even repent as people who are close to their graves. I know people of their ages love to worship and prepare themselves to see the creator ALAS. Except for Q. Moyo the demonic liar.

Handson - 1 August 2018

I thought we were an educated people, but clearly some of us cannot read with understanding. Some of our people do not have basic research skills to just ascertain the validity of their thinking, I find it difficult to understand why someone in Harare or Bulawayo trying to claim "they are the people, and they have spoken!" They might have spoken for themselves through their votes, but not for everyone! Prof Jonathan Moyo once said that some people thought that Harare was Zimbabwe - how right he was! The MDC scripted their huge loss. They mismanaged their succession and imposed Chamisa, silencing all the mature and sober minds in the party! They partnered with former rebels Biti and Prof Welshman Ncube, to complete the disastrous script! Indeed, they had the numbers in urban areas, but failed to understand that most of the people who attended their rallies in the cities were people of no fixed abode, hence had not registered to vote! The MDC Alliance will collapse soon after the election and there will be need to re-think the Chamisa option of leadership

Mhofu Chaiyo - 1 August 2018

OK Mhofu chaiyo you have won the elections. Please change the state of the economy because those who voted from rural areas will need jobs which are in cities and towns, unless if they are all peasant farmers and hunters.Makorokoto hopefully this christmas people will not sleep at the banks to access their cash.

chimuti - 1 August 2018

we all promised each other to accept the results as they are

MDC died the day Morgan Tsvangirai passed on. Those BOBOJANS losing to Ngwena are not MDC. They represent a high league of sellouts never seen in Zimbabwe. That is not an opposition party dont be fooled. Its a group of lazy people who cant work for their lives but choose to fool innocent Zimbabweans by hijacking their Party to be a puppet of Zanu Pf. Thats Biti and Chamisa alongside Mudzuri. Leave our party alone you sellouts. Learnmore Jongwe died for change, Bennett (Pachedu) died for change, Morgan Tsvangirai suffered and died for change and many people were made homeless, given permanent injuries and forced to relocate fighting for change. Itai Dzamara up today his family is still hoping one day Daddy will be back home and it was because of his fight for change. You Chamisa and your Biti decided to take this journey of change into your own hands

Mr Runo - 1 August 2018

Hopefully rural folks benefit more but yet they are the ones who suffers most. Lets have a heart for our country and its people. We voted for zanu in 1980 to destroy us like this
