Concerns over Zim polls grow

HARARE - There are growing fears that Zimbabwe is once again headed for a disputed poll — with the country’s main opposition insisting that it will announce the results of the keenly-anticipated plebiscite before the under-fire national elections management body, the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec), does so.

Many thought the Chigumba figure would fair better than Mudede. It now appears that Mudede was smarter at rigging elections than this beautiful yet hard hearted judicial officer. I believe the time has come. Let us vote in our millions to neutralise the Nikuv - Chigumba agendas.

Yes, people need to go in numbers and vote but the ballot paper issue has to be addressed because our voting will be a futile exercise.

Let the galant police and army officer show the ruling party that they should never be manipulated and only remembered during election time. They suffer the same hardships like any other Zimbabwean sons and daughters. Its time they stand up and say "NO" to manipulation. Zimbabwe is for us all whether civilian, soldier, CIO or police officer.

This smart on face but careless in thinking yellow bone lady called Priscilla Chigumba has definitely lost the plot.Trying to hide behind burnt bushes is just not on Piri. You are like a naked lunatic trying to take cover by kneeling in public with your face down.

In 1980, Zanu Pf historically romped to victory despite all the odds that were stacked against them. They were just coming out of a war situation, with virtually no experience like MDC Alliance who have experience of playing the game without winning since 2000. The racist white minority Rhodesian government of Ian Smith was very ruthless, as no opposition party could openly and freely criticise the government of the day in the shameful way that MDC Alliance is doing, Surely you would hardly get away with it. Kutuka so recklessly. But ironically, in this modern era , here in Zimbabwe we are free to express our political views and opinions without fear of victimisation. Some of you even go to the extent of abusing that right & freedom by misusing this right, e.g. scolding the ZEC chair person, Why?. Thus unnecessary personalisation of national issues, be they political of economical.
