Mad rat race for presidential elections

HARARE - MDC Alliance boss Nelson Chamisa has suffered a major blow in his bid to form a winning, all-embracing grand coalition after other opposition leaders filed their papers at the Nomination Court yesterday to contest the youthful politician and President Mnangagwa in next month's eagerly-anticipated presidential election.

To a lesser extent yes but the biggest advantage we have is chamisa will be on the first page of the ballot. So we will teach our voters not to waste precious time on flipping other pages.

Vote ED for presidency and vote opposition for MPs. This augurs well for the future of the country. Think seriously for your country's sake. Nobody will stand up for such an idea. Bring Chamisa in 2023.

Daily News, may I remind you that the people of this country have supported you? Now we can see clearly you are at eating at the Junta feeding trough. For some time now, you have been negative about MDCT leaders, starting with MT and now Chamisa. You always look for the negative in everything that is happening to him. Enjoy the Junta loot while it lasts.

Itz true Chamisa is only taking advantage of the opposition support network but he himself still needs to learn politics;is not at all a presidential material,if ever elected it will b too heavy a cup to handle for him;he still seem does not know what goes for the country to go ahead;but Biti could do at the finance ministry;I hope all enlightened & serious voters not under n influence of partisan politics would reject Chamisa at the presidency & perhaps choose to elect opposition & independent candidates in parliament in their droves;because n party partisan politics will continue to fail our country. It does not benefit the common man to be either Zanu pf nor MDC at this juncture but to use yr vote to help advance the nation's cause

Gentleman, le us be realistic. who in this world, would attack and chase a way a lion as dangerous as Mugabe. And after succedding in castrating this lion, the person goes to give away leadership to a young reckless and uncouth lad like Chamisa? Who can do that. Chiwenga is not stupid. If he were stuoid, he would not have even attepted to remove Mugabe. So Chamisa can never be given the ropes of power. What he got are the ropes to tie himself and get kicked out from MDC, being accused of immaturity, which will be blamed for MDC losing elections, and Chamisa being removed as leader.
