Presidential election headed for run-off

BULAWAYO - A survey by the Mass Public Opinion Institute (Mpoi) and Afrobarometer has predicted a closely-contested presidential race between President Emmerson Mnangagwa and MDC Alliance president Nelson Chamisa that seems to point towards a run-off.

These surveys cannot be relied on,so political parties should not read much in them. For instance in this one it is said that Mnangagwa will get 42%, Chamisa 31% and others 2%, these total to 75% where is the 25%? Is this an accurate assessment? Why are we talking of a run off now? Why is that in 2013 was no talk of a run off? I smell a rat in ZEC 's house some is cooking a run off. That of 2008 was not a genuine outcome because it took Mnangagwa and his cabal 6 weeks to release results. I am confident this time around ZanuPF would sweat to get a single seat in Matabeleland regions, towns and cities, very few in Masvingo,Mashonaland and Midlands as for Manicaland the result might follow that in Matebeland regions. This is because at the present moment the party is more fractured than before. So one doesn't understand how the surveys came out with this result which has not explained about the missing 25%.
