Nash Paints wins big at Megafest awards

HARARE – Fast-growing paint manufacturer, distributor of automotive and decorative paints Nash Paints emerged among the biggest winners of the Megafest Northern Region Business Awards held on Friday night.

This came after its director Tinashe Mutarisi demonstrated his leadership dominance by scooping the Outstanding Business Person of the Year award.

It came after Nash Paints was honoured for attaining ISO 9001:2008 certification which specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory requirements.

The Megafest Business Awards are held annually as a way of recognising, developing and promoting professional business acumen at all business levels.

Other winners on the night included ProAir Conditioning & Refrigeration, Willdale Limited and Zimbabwe Manpower Development Fund who won the most consistent organisations award.

The best local authority was won by Manyame Rural District Council while the best marketed organisation was won by National Building Society and Steward Bank.

Zesa National Training walked away with the Outstanding Training Institution of the Year while Shift Engage scooped the Small Business of the Year.

The Entrepreneur of the Year went to Brett Mead of Shift Engage and Tapera Chikandiwa of High Achievers Coach Educational Centre.

The Young Manager of the Year Ngonidzashe Samuel Mutingwende  a financial analyst at Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority.
