Bryan K unleashes new single, video

HARARE – Rising star Bryan K has dropped a new single titled Ndoita Sei which is accompanied by a video.

The up-tempo song was produced by the internationally-acclaimed Mr Kamera who has in the past worked with top artistes such as Nigerians Ice Prince, Yemi Alade and Endia, South Africans DJ Maphorisa, Ma-E and L-Tido as well as Malawian music star Gemini Major.

On the other hand, the Ndoita Sei video was directed by Sir Peter who was also behind Bryan K’s video for the song Maggie.

Bryan K is confident that he has released the song at the right time.

“I wrote and recorded this song almost a year ago, but didn’t release it because of different circumstances so I am happy that I have finally released it now especially at this important time in the history of Zimbabwe,” the Heavy Machine hit-maker told the Daily News.

He added that Ndoita Sei could be his last release this year.

“It is my last release this year but you know how it is with music and creativity something else might just come to my mind.

“I am working on a couple of visuals for songs I released this year and some tracks that I am gonna release next year. I am working on an album to be released next year,” said Bryan K who is also keen to make his forthcoming album his best to date.

“This year, was fun because I managed to explore other avenues and experiment with different sounds but the album will bigger and better than the first one.”

Ndoita Sei is a follow up to the track Maggie on which he collaborated with Zim hip-hop star ExQ and DJ Towers on his just-released latest single titled Maggie.

The Chinhoyi-born Bryan K co-produced the single, which he believes typifies the ghetto, with South Africa-based Mr Kamera and Simba Tags.

In addition to Maggie, Bryan K has also released My Love, Forever as well as Ndopenga — a duet he did with Zimdancehall star Dobba Don over the past year.

The rising artiste first attracted national attention in 2012 when he won the Starbrite Talent Search Competition.

He released his debut album titled Nyaya Dzerudo two years ago.

Bryan K’s biggest breakthrough was last year when he dropped the hit Heavy Machine that attracted national and international attention setting the stage for him to collaborate with South Africa-based Zimbabwean music producer, Mr Kamera on the hit Pamusika.

The track was later remixed with Nigerian hip-hop artist Ice Prince and Malawian music star Gemini Major contributing to the song.
