Stop fighting, create jobs

EDITOR — We know and appreciate that our economy is on its knees but I am sure our government can  find ways to ensure that every Zimbabwean citizen especially our youths are fully empowered as we face many challenges everyday in order to survive and fend for the families.

Because of our economy which has failed to open doors for youths in terms of employment, most youths have turned into vendors, touts and worse, hard-core criminals and despite some qualifications they might possess, getting a job has proven so hard and instead if you don’t have a relative working, chances of getting a job are very slim . So sad!

Instead of the government officials fighting they can channel that energy towards finding some ways on how to raise enough funds to help the youths and instead of buying chiefs luxurious cars they can implement ZimAsset which is a nice project which can help change and boost our economy and perhaps reduce unemployment rate.

What does the Zimbabwean future hold for our youths who are growing up or we are just going to suffer the same way our forefathers, grandfathers did because our future is under threat, an issue which should not be ignored at all.

I strongly believe that it is the wish of every Zimbabwean youth and citizen that the ministry of Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment provides an effective plan, implement it to serve as a solution to these economic woes.

Our government I am sure can do something to save its youths from this bad situation.

Let’s unite Zimbabweans and preserve our valuable ethos as a nation!
