A night at Hre's premier strippers' club

HARARE - Last week, I carried myself to go and enjoy myself at Harare's premier strippers club, Private Lounge.

I had to embark on this journey after a long time out of the Harare entertainment circuit and the experience and encounter was one I haven’t witnessed during my myriad nightspot sojourns.

And customarily, I have to come down here to intimate to you my people on what transpired.

So, I zoomed off and landed at this packed and happening joint at about 10pm. Since I was a guest, I was received by a fabulous host, Ruramai, who showered me in.

When I entered, the whole place was hitting with loud music, If by Davido, followed by Pana by Tekno, Come Closer by Drake and Wizkid, Mafikizolo and Jah Prayzah's monster hit Sendekera, followed by Watora Mari by Jah Prayzah and and Diamond Platnumz. The playlist was amazing.

At this time, there was no dancer on the cabaret, so I got some welcoming drinks - single malt Glenfiddich 18-year-old Scotch whisky.

With patio gas heaters installed at Private Lounge to keep revellers warm on chilly nights drawn close to me, I was already in the galaxy lounge.

I sipped my brand of alcohol gradually and positioned myself at a vantage area, to get a good glimpse of the cabaret.

The first to take up the stage was a chubby girl, very succulent body, all top notch and standing. In red lingerie, she danced to Beyoncé's song, I Was Here.

Immediately, she finished dancing, she disappeared into thin air, couldn't see her again. I was still watching and expecting.

Then the second climbed the stage, very appealing look, body looking succulent, tall, slender, sweet legs and good face. She was teasing revellers with baby oil that she generously splurged on herself.

Then the next one came, and then the next and the next....

I was observing every girl and closely looking out for details, monitoring like an evil spirit. I saw many girls, and all strippers were my specs.

All this time, I was sipping my Glenfiddich on rocks, observing calmly, closely observing the scantily-clad women. And all this time, I was engaged in an interesting conversation with this shy and vivacious black beauty sitting next to me. She was drinking Four Season red wine.

My people, Private Lounge are the real deal. The stage dancing was like some showcase to advertise the bodies of the dancers, whose money came from tips that the patrons inserted into their lingerie.

The toast of the night was this slender, tall, cute, and innocent girl stripper, dressed in a sexy black and white school uniform, complete with white stockings. Her set was no doubt the best. This professional pole dancer was on a whole other level of fitness and dexterity. And people were genuinely baffled by her moves. She was deftly controlling the speed at which she spanned on the pole by varying the moves.

Then this voluptuous stripper was next. She put up a splendid performance, cavorting on stage.

I was sighting this stripper chick from my vantage, soon she noticed me, and was also staring back at me. I continued my gaze.

And guess what, she got off the stage and gave me an erotic lap dance. She was grinding her body against mine. The duration of the lap dance was too short, measured by the length of the song played by the club's DJ. What!? See, I am a shy person, but I was grinning as this stripper was working me.

I was totally gobsmacked. She wined for me in her red lingerie. Kuita kunge nyika iri kudengenyeka. She had straight fine legs, moderately shaped; facially, she’s just there.

There were more performances by the professional strippers.

And with Glenfiddich taking its toll, this summed up the decadent nature of this night out, with scantily clad women sashaying in the pub with bottles of champagne in their hands.

And to be honest, everyone in the Private Lounge looked to be enjoying the entertainment, just as much as me. I give this adult entertainment pub 12 out of 10.

I'm a bit of the too-old-to-rock-n-roll-n-too-young-to-die sort, y'now. What a description of the very enjoyable evening you must you must have had, and of the gorgeous (I like your adjective -succulent) strippers! It's as though it's live in my head and I'm actually also watching the event! We all have our moral and ethical issues and principles to content with as we age, but then once in a while one needs to reboot their memories and ego by revisiting their past. That's the reality of things and life! Excellent writing - thank you!
