Life presidency calls alarming

HARARE - President Robert Mugabe’s ridiculous claims that Zimbabweans love him so much that they want him to rule for life, notwithstanding his advanced age, is sycophantic to say the least.

Zanu PF youths, through their secretary Kudzanai Chipanga, made a resolution at the party’s conference in Masvingo that the nonagenarian should die in office.

The youths’ weird declaration sparked shock and outrage given that it is the young generation — hardest hit by the effects of Mugabe’s misrule — making this bizarre call.

We reject the almost criminal resignation and negligence with which Mugabe’s government has responded to our national crises this past year. We need not recount the number of lives lost, the losses incurred by businesses; and opportunities wasted for millions of Zimbabweans due to the incompetence of the executive.

It boggles the mind how Mugabe and a band of his bootlickers actually think that Zimbabweans want him to continue ruling this country despite having ruined lives through decades of poverty and misery in a country once described by the late Julius Nyerere as a “jewel of Africa”.

Life presidency calls sound delusional and shocking.

It is equally shocking that Mugabe actually believes in the fawning calls by his hangers on.

The late former Harare mayor, Tony Gara, once infamously said Mugabe was God’s other son. It is this kind of apple-polishing that has plunged Zimbabwe into the current social, economic and political quagmire we find ourselves trapped in.

It is common knowledge that political legitimacy underpins socio-economic development for any government anywhere in this world.

The more the country continues under Mugabe’s octopus-like grip on power, the more Zimbabwe will remain perpetually trapped in both these economic and political crises of legitimacy.

Thus, no matter how hard the Zanu PF spin doctors might try to mislead the nation, the ghost of July 31, 2013 is still out there; haunting and ravaging the nation.

The Zimbabwean economy is in a free fall. That is a fact. Between July 31, 2013 and the end of August 2015, no less than 650 000 workers had lost their jobs in the formal sector.

The government will have to import at least 800 000 metric tonnes of maize if Zimbabwe is to avert the impending humanitarian catastrophe; particularly in the southern provinces of the country.

And Zanu PF wants a man who has lorded over this crisis to rule for life?

These are deluded poverty stricken Niggers with no morals and evil is now their DNA and circulating in their systems instead of blood. What is very obvious is that this is the kind of boot licking that has brought misery and suffering among the majority of hard working Zimbabweans who strive to irk a living in this mismanaged country by this biltong skinned tinpot despot called Mugabe. Normal people cannot be advocating for Mugabe to continue with this mess he has created. Only a mad people can. What is good is that God is about to bring this to end. Its a question of time. vana Chipanga munhu here uyu and the hoodlums that follow him. These are dogs eating the crumbs that fall from Mugabe's table. Zvinopera izvi and we will to petition God for his divine intervention. Once the big dog goes all these barking puppies will shut up with little tails in between their legs. Kuti nyangadza. Ladies and gentlemen, it's very simple. In Zanu PF the surest and fastest way to get promotion is to bootlick no matter to what ludicrous levels. This young man Chipanga has realised this and is aiming high, very high.I can assure you he will be a government minister within twelve months.Unfortunately for him it won't be for very long!

It takes one to be abnormal to support Zanu PF and believe in Mugabe!!!! Its unbelievable that grown up men and women fall over each other declaring their support and endorsement of the soon to be 93 year old Mugabe as their future. One wonders that if Zanu PF is so inept in leadership, what would happen to the party after Mugabe? This is a clear sign to the masses of this country that the country's future can never be placed in the hands of a party without a future. If the Zanu PF future is in the hands of someone who is 90+ then there is clearly no future!!!!! AKE LICABANGE KUHLE BANTU BE ZANU LINGABI NGAMAZANKA!!!!!
