Jah Prayzah collaborates with Mafikizolo

HARARE - Red-hot Jah Prayzah and continental music giants Mafikizolo are currently collaborating on a song expected to propel the Zimbabwean star to new heights.

The duet with the celebrated South African duo follows a highly successful collaboration with Tanzanian star Diamond Platinumz — Watora Mari — which played a key role in making the Jah Prayzah land an MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) gong two months ago.

Jah Prayzah is confident that the duet with Mafikizolo will be a classy one.

“When you work with such amazing, renowned African legends, you can be sure it’s definitely going to be good!

“Watch out for musoja wenyu ( your soldier) featuring Mafikizolo masoja (solidiers), katiri kubika kanopisa, (what we are working on will be hot)” he wrote on his Facebook page.

The Uzumba-born star also took to Instagram to announce the collaboration with the South African duo.

“We are working on something which I believe is gonna drive the continent crazy with International stars #mafikizolosa @nhlanhla_nciza @theo_kgosinkwe #goodvibesbabe.”

Mafizikizolo appears to be equally excited to be recording with Jah Prayzah.

“In studio with the Zimbabwean legend @jahprayzah #Sendekera#TsikaPasiDalie,” Mafikizolo’s Nhlanhla Nciza posted on her Instagram along with a picture of her, Theo Kgosinkwe and Jah Prayzah.

Though efforts to get more details on the collaboration were fruitless yesterday, it is likely that DJ Maphorisa is the producer of the song.

The South African record producer and disk jockey was pictured with Jah Prayzah and Mafikizolo in one of the pictures posted by the Zimbabwean star’s team.
