Tsvangirai appoints 2 more VPs

HARARE - MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai has appointed Nelson Chamisa and Elias Mudzuri as vice presidents.

The party now has three vice presidents, including Thokhozani Khupe.

More details to follow.

Mr Morgan, this is what you have decided. Is this the succession plan since you are not feeling so well? All the best.

kkkkk confused Morgan, he is simply saying Khupe is not good enough. She is a ceremonial president kkkkk Morgan

Once again, Shona Gukurahundi tribalism rearing its head in the MDC-T. A typical carbon copy of ZANU PF. Who said Welshman Ncube was wrong? And this is the party the so-called majority want to come to power?

zvamurikutukira Zanu ndozvomoitawo zvepresident hobho, politics is not the answer to our problems

T Chiroro - 15 July 2016

Well and fine Morgan. Lets hope you are not trying to address divisions in the party by doing this. But do something about the currently burning fire.

tokhi - 15 July 2016

Why do you need more than one Vice President? At least for Zanu they wanted to solve the problem created by the Unity with Zapu. Seems Mdc admires Zanu hence the copying of everything without analysing why it was done that way. Where else in the world have you seen two Vice Presidents for the same political party.

Owen - 15 July 2016

Tsvangirai please fire your so called advisors or political analysts they are a bunch idiots. Right now you need to visit people in bank queues dont say anything but take your time on the queues your presence need to be felt on any mistake zanu pf makes a blunder. its high time you need to be like the common person and be like them. Eat from chicken inn. Just pass through charge office rank unannounce to tell the truth you will win more hearts

acm - 15 July 2016

when the pastor takes the limelight, the idiotic tsvangirayi will do anything to get in the news

truth - 15 July 2016

This is a master stroke succession plan in place. Tsvangiai has anointed his potential successor unlike the ancestor who keeps us guessing. The people have been given three possible candidates to pick their preferred choice from and at the same time stopping the vicious jockeying for places. Chamisa would definitely emerge as the most suitable choice on merit as he is the only visible opposition legislator in parliament and even the ancestor has respect for this brilliant young man.Now that the succession issue has been resolved lets mobilise the electorate as we approach 2008.

anyone with proper political aptitude can smell the democratic coffee brewing in the only vibrant party in our little kantry! only chronic idiots can lampoon aimless utterences that are a renowned hallmark of their hate for morgan

SaManyika Chaiye - 15 July 2016

Mudzuri panyanga deputised by Khupe and Nelson, simple

Chasura - 15 July 2016

Am happy now. This is called grooming of potential presidential candidates. This is called democracy. Munogona baba Tsvangirai.

kays 1 - 15 July 2016

Chamisa for president.

kays 1 - 15 July 2016

Succession strategy although is painful to others but it is good for the party

Adventure - 15 July 2016

Mark my words, the road is clear for the former mayor of Harare. In as much as I would have liked the ceremonial vice (Khupe), every one knows she does not have a stamina to fight ZANU. In any case she is also sick!

dick mboko - 15 July 2016

Well done MDC!!

MaZimbabweans tinonyadzisa hey, You can tell me that you are not seeing what Tsvangirai is trying to do there. With all the education you have you are still ignorant that you cannot see that he is just trying to groom them so that they choose one from them. Khupe has cancer too you and she lacks leadership qualities. We do not choose a president because of his tribe or gender, we want someone who can perform well and who can bring people together. And Chamisa will prevail if MDC-T is to win an election.

Parks Papindanyoka - 16 July 2016

We wait to see the eventuality bt like they say, leapard does not change colours.Mr Tsvangirai chased Welshman out of mdc,he did not groom him, chased bti n mangoma, was about chase khupe bt faced resistence from her faction. Now bcoz of illness yu think he is grooming anyone? Evryone knows khupe has the numbers in mdc,she is a woman ,is sympathised for her work outside mdc.Chamisa lost internal elections n has to be always brot up by Tsvangirai.Khupe proved a fighter by refusing to be kicked out.Mudzuri was nearly finnished. The trauma of being mayor took a chunk out of him.But thats yo politics. We have seen these pretendences in zanu ,long time ago.Heee president is grooming Simba by se ding him to sadc.Heee president is now grooming chris ushewokunze, ah no its now mujuru being groomed.Leaders.
