Scores mob Tsvangirai

HARARE - Scores of opposition MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai’s supporters thronged the party’s headquarters in Harare today to welcome him back following a long absence due to illness.

The MDC leader was recently diagnosed with colon cancer.

Business came to a standstill along Nelson Mandela Street in the capital as placard waving party supporters danced and ululated.

Riot police had to come in to control the crowd.

More details to follow.

@social - your observaions don't change a thing - he is the most popular, elections had to be rigged for him (and Zimbabwe) to lose. Noone has ever been beaten or threatened to like MT it's completely voluntary.

Mwari anoita seanokudadirai kana oda kukupai chirairo. Morgan's health shake is like the ordeal of Job in the bible. The time is now! Morgan said at the launch of the 'all mother of demonstrations ' in Harare that it was the first step by the people of Zimbabwe to fight the yoke of Zanu pf. Aluta continua. Demo! Demo! Demo!

I agree with you Social, the MDC's method of engaging Zanu pf has failed and people need something else, something radical. If Tsvangirai is to remain relevant he and his party have to find other convincing method to deal with Zanu pf

Those who are attempting to equate pastor Mawarire and Morgan are hypocrites against the struggle for poverty and corruption. All the guys are Zimbabeans fighting one social evil. They are fightuing from the same corner. Pastor Mawarire is attacking the devil from the spiritual and moral perspective while Mogiza is using the political front. They are complements and true Patriotic brothers. If there are more Zimbabweans who fight the evil by the name corruption, poverty and unemployment, they are well come. We do not mind . Even if they are coming fro Zanu Pf, Zanu Ndonga, ZBC, Zifa, MDC, ZIM Pf, PHD MInistries, UFI,. As long their message is about love, unity , prosterity, Godliness and transparent Zimbabwe, we say please come forward. We are all Zimbabweans with one common enemy.
