Rap sensation dreams big

HARARE - Zimbabwe's rap, hip hop scene has a new kid on the block known by the moniker Ultron Reign$, whose has just dropped a new single is titled Rudo Rwako.

The song was recorded at Xsodus Records in Mbare.

Real name Tambirayi Chemhere, Ultron Reign$ is popular for his lyrical competency and profound passion for music.

In Rudo Rwako, Ultron Reign$ sings about a girl whom he dearly loves, who gives unconditional love and will listen and do anything for her.

Ultron Reign$ sings as part of the rap / hip hop music group Mbare Massive Gang (MMG), who have a mission to influence the Zimbabwean and African entertainment scene.

“Wherever I engage in rap battles those who hear my voice and lyrics always comment that I am good and that I should do the real work in the studio,” says the young artist.

“As an artist I want to achieve a lot of things in life and leave a rich musical legacy. I want to be remembered as a legend, successful, a good influence to young people as well as the older generation.

“Music is not a funny thing, but a God given talent”, says the unassuming Ultron Reign$.

Last year, Ultron Reign$ recorded a single track called Kill Them All featuring DJ Krownik, Mistreey, TevVin Forever and Baller.

If all goes to plan, before the end of this winter, Ultron Reign$ revealed that he will release his debut mix tape titled Up Coming.

It will feature hip hop artistes like HTM, TevVin Forever and others.

Songs to look out for on the mix tape include Rudo Rwako, Tiri Kuchema, Mbare, Everything Changes, V Roy, Never Give Up, Kill Them All Cipher and Up Coming.
