Bustop Tv, Baba Tensen collaborate

HARARE - Comedians Bustop Tv and Baba Tensen have collaborated in three skits that will be released sometime this week.

The two outfits are popular on social media for their comedy skits that tackle day-to-day issues in a humorous way.

Luckie Aaroni, founder of Bustop told the Daily News that this is to promote talent within each other.

“We did three skits with Baba Tensen. We started the conversation early January on possible collaboration between Bustop and Kuripwa Kugara (Baba Tensen). At that time, it was not possible as he is based in South Africa.

“We then started working on how we could work around that and resolved that Comic Pastor should go to South Africa where they shot the skits. So we have three skits with different themes addressing issues as usual,” Aaroni said.

He added that they are in the final stages of production.

“If all goes well we will release them at the end of this week. We are trying to get corporates to endorse the skits but if we do not get any clients we will go ahead and post as they are almost ready for release. The skits are being edited in South Africa by the Kuripwa Kugara team,” he said.

Bustop Tv also roped in award-winning comedian Doc Vikela to be part of their family.

“He is now part of the team but he has his main show called Dear Africa but he will be doing skits with us as well. Dear Africa is a weekly news show with humour,” said Aaroni.
