Self-proclaimed prophet predicts stadium collapse

HARARE - The Heart of Worship International Church founder Tinashe Mandizha, who claims popular prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa is his spiritual father, has predicted the collapse of the National Sports Stadium due to cracks.

Mandizha revealed the message of doom last week saying his prophecies are accurate, urging local authorities to act on cracks which have developed on one of the bays of the 60 000-seater stadium.

“I saw a crack at the National Sports Stadium, the fault is located at South-West side of the stadium and authorities should fix it before we lose lives.

“What I saw is not pleasant at all hence there is need for a speedy reaction to the crack; the joint should be quickly reinforced.

“Most of my prophecies happen instantly, they rarely go beyond three months before being fulfilled or come to pass,” said the 24-year-old preacher.

Mandizha told the Daily News on Sunday that despite him leading his church in Budiriro suburb of Harare, he is still loyal to Makandiwa and the United Family International Church (UFIC).

“I am proud of having Makandiwa as my spiritual father and mentor. From him, I learnt how to run a mega ministry,” he said. Mandizha joined UFIC in 2011 from Kingdom Ambassadors Evangelical Ministries.

“God sent me to UFIC to learn what ... Makandiwa was doing and with his anointing, I am now running a church with more than 200 congregants,” he said.
