Jinya new BAZ president

HARARE - MBCA Bank (MBCA)’s, managing director Charity Jinya has been appointed Bankers Association of Zimbabwe (Baz) president deputised by FBC Bank (FBC) boss Webster Rusere.

Jinya takes over from Agribank chief executive Sam Malaba whose two-year tenure expired this month.

The seasoned banker has served as chairperson of the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe and sits on various boards having been one of the numerous outstanding females in the corporate world since 1988.

On the other hand, Rusere, who has served as Baz president before, joined FBC in 1998 and rose through the ranks to managing director, his current position.
