Schools Expo on the cards

HARARE - A local NGO, Zimbabwe Academic Trust,  is holding the 2016 Schools Expo on June 4 at the Celebration Centre in Harare.

The Schools Expo, organised by the Zimbabwe Academic Trust,  is dedicated to helping parents and caregivers find the best independent school education across the country for their children.

The expo is the only event where visitors have an opportunity to make contact face-to-face with representatives from schools, all in one place, under one-roof.

Whether day or boarding schools, parents and their children can engage with principals and teaching staff who can answer all their questions needed to assess a school’s suitability, curriculum, sporting and academic opportunities

Organisers said this is an event aimed at providing groundbreaking pertinent information about schools to parents and guardians in one convenient location.

Nakai Munikwa, the founding director of Zimbabwe Academic Trust said: “It’s a good platform for parents to compare school levies in relation to the quality of the curriculum they offer.

“The best part is that it’s all happening in one location to save parents’ time and resources from driving around the country from school to school to get this information.”

All of the country’s independent schools are expected to attend this expo to showcase their very best attributes.

Organisers said lots of printed material will be available for parents to take home for further reading.
