Tsvangirai, opposition parties meet

HARARE - Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai will today meet more than 10 opposition parties at the launch of the Zimbabwe National Agreement Platform to be held in Harare at City Sports Centre.

The opposition parties, which are set to meet today, signed the National Electoral Reforms Agenda (Nera) pact early this month.

On Tuesday, former Presidential Affairs minister Didymus Mutasa also signed the Nera document on behalf of ousted Vice President Joice Mujuru’s yet-to-be-launched People First party.

The document is an understanding by the country’s opposition parties to work together in pressuring President Robert Mugabe to implement electoral reforms ahead of the much-anticipated 2018 harmonised elections.

But a top cleric who is leading the process to unite the opposition parties, Bishop Ancelimo Magaya said all the political parties which signed the Nera document are expected to grace the event.

“All political parties which signed the Nera document and even some of those who did not sign are coming,” Magaya said.

“The convergence is a platform were all Zimbabweans from, political parties; civil society and churches come together and discuss the situation which is affecting our country. The issue of convergence has been talked about for years but finally we are going to hold it on Friday (today).

“However Mutasa, who signed the Nera document yesterday said People First, would not be sending a delegate to attend today’s discussion which Magaya said  will treat all parties as equals at City Sports Centre.

“The convergence is not about the bigness of a certain political party, political parties will come as equal, so as civil society and the church.

“People might argue who is going to lead political parties’ coalition but our concern as churches is not about an election pact, our concern is that we want a situation where the playing field is level. I am happy various political parties agreed on this issue, we are not worried about an election pact.

Magaya said he was also expecting some political parties who did not sign the Nera document to join them at the convergence, “Their absence at the Nera signing ceremony does not mean that they actually snubbed the process, it was simply that some of them were having pressing issues.

“We work with those who are ready and those who are still not sure, we are giving them time for them to decide whether to join us or not.

“I had a very constructive discussion with Simba Makoni (Mavambo/Kusile/Dawn (MKD) leader) who was not part of the signing ceremony however, he is supporting the idea.

“Let us by all means desist from self-serving agendas at the expense of the bigger picture. We know you have personal differences as political parties but you must learn to work together for the good of the country,” added Magaya.

Other parties that signed the document include the MDC-led by Welshman Ncube, Zanu-Ndonga, Transform Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe United For Democracy, African Democratic Party, African Democratic Party and Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe.

Morgan is the only leader that all sane citizens want to lead this country bcoz this man is not a sell out noh did he form the political party after being fired from zanu . We had been together with this man for along long time in our quest to remove zanu and Mugabe from power he has flatly refused to be a zombie for Mugabe hence he is being disliked by Mugabe and his wife and a handful group of thieves which are hiding inside Mugabe 'zanu .Never worry about people first this a zanu bi product which is there just to confuse people it is not a political party bcoz it is not registered and has no offices In order for change to take place in this country People First must be left out of this project as we all know they are not for change but and reconstruction of this nation but was created for the purpose of settle scores with Mugabe after being booted out of that evil party . Let them do their things alone they are poison and anti change .

Diibilanyika you are missing the point of this whole gathering my question is if your leader does not want to work with other leaders then whose interest is he trying to serve cause I believe we want to work together for the benefit of all body not to go it alone and say ndakazvita ndega saka ndini uyauya arikutaurwa noboys dzedancall so be careful with the agenda that you are trying to push

Advice for Morgan and his family of clowns (Zimbabweans) Come election time don't fall into the trap of acknowledging a Jukwa-like facebook ghost page and as usual the so called educated masses will worsen things by giving a 400 thousand thumps up. They leak info of the total destruction of the Zany Party and you all get overly excited like a baby in pyjamas. Morgan and his MDC will come to the educated fools of Zimbabwe and ask should we or should we not and again the answer will be “YES WE CAN”! Mazimba munoda zvinhu too much. ZPF will wallop your asses left, right and centre as long as they know your weaknesses. Never mind Uncle Morgy's insatiable appetite for plump, light skinned juicy women. What will destroy his campaign, again, is NUMBER ONE: The well known infiltration by ZPF intelligencia into your structures. Keep away. NUMBER TWO: Mao ze dong simple tactics! Go to the people, be with the people, live with the people before you launch your attack. Where is your grassroots campaign Uncle Morgy??? Plain and simple Endai munotokonora nzungu nanaMbuya, help the village people in the fields while casually chatting with them about your goals. Donate to them the small things they need. Use subtle, effective manoeuvres. By the time Zanu Pf realises, it's too late. Limit your Facebook time, 3 million likes haasi mavotes?. Leave that page for your political advisor, go out and talk to the people. Target small groups. Leave the media to the clowns. If you don't do this it's gonna be “Another one bites the dust”. Just wake up and smell the rural dust Mr. And you the so called educated masses isai tuma degree twenyu muhomwe muende kunovoter. Taneta netu maAnalysis twenyu. Ndini ndadaro. Hezvoko!!

We have heard this nonsense about Morgan as being a womanizer from zanu cio and, fools , But what we know the guy never took anybody 's wife on top of that he is very normal his balls were never roasted or electrocuted that means he can make a woman pregnant . Stop hiding your cowardice behind this guy . if you are cowards you are cowards stop blaming Morgan he is the only leader feared by Mugabe and zanu in this country you can hallucinate here insulting Morgan but your problems wont go away after that .If you think you are far much better than him form your party and take over power .
