Bev dominates dance awards

HARARE - Pole dancer Beverly “Bev” Sibanda and her troupe the Sexy Angels have been nominated in 10 categories for tomorrow’s Dancers Association of Zimbabwe (Daz) awards set for Harare’s City Sports Bar.

Bev recently bagged the “Dance Queen” award at the Africa-wide reggae dancehall dancing competition held in South Africa where she walked away with R25 000.

Bev’s manager Harpers Mapimhidze was delighted by the nominations.

“It is good to have Bev honoured like this, especially after the awards that took place in South Africa last month.

“It has also been a progressive year for us; we have been performing a lot outside the country, showing that people appreciate Bev as an artiste. Out of all the nominations we wish to grab a few, if not all,” he said.

Daz was created in 2010 to monitor dancers and keep them in line with the law.
