Magaya earns another top gong

HARARE - Celebrity preacher Walter Magaya has topped the Zimbabwe 2015 Top 100 Influential people released this week for the second year in succession.

Magaya beat other equally prominent people to add another feather to his already decorated trophy cabinet.

The list, compiled by blogger Gorindemabwe Frontier, saw Jah Prayzah landing the number two spot.

Founder of the United Family International Church Emmanuel Makandiwa assumed the third place, maintaining the spot he occupied last year.

Charles Manyuchi, whose faith and determination has seen him punch his way to the top of the World Boxing Council (WBC) welterweight class, comes in at number four.

Founder of 263 Chat Nigel Mugamu, along with entrepreneurs Joselyn Mahachi and Frank Buyanga, complete positions five, six and seven respectively.

Socialite and Intratrek Zimbabwe chief executive Wicknell Chivhayo is ninth whilst Chicken Slice founder Tawanda Mutyebere closes the top 10 position.

Spirit Embassy Ministries founder Uebert Angel was the biggest loser, failing to make it into the top 20 having scooped the top prize four years ago.
