Tin-Tin gives birth to baby boy

HARARE - Actress and former DJ Tinopona Katsande has given birth to a baby boy.

The controversial radio DJ and her fiancé Virimai Chigariro have named their son Yambuko Nokutendaishe Chigariro.

Yambuko, who was born weighing 3,1kg on Monday morning, is Tin-Tin’s first child.

She shared her joy on social media. “Today, I witnessed perfection, pure and untainted, undiluted and no preservatives,” she said.

“Just the work of God in all His glory, today I held my miracle. I cannot begin to express to you how God is so real in my life.

“I will praise Him all the days of my life. I will never be afraid to speak of God’s awesomeness in my life. I have a son.

“I have an amazing husband. I have the truest of friends and the most encouraging of family. I am so very blessed.

“Thank you for the many prayers; encouragement, best wishes, and kind thoughts throughout my nine-month journey; my Facebook family and friends.

“Indeed it was a speedy and safe delivery. I am so very blessed. I have met the love of my life.”

Tin-Tin rose to fame in the early 2000s for her role as Joyce Huni in local soapie, Studio 263.

This comes hardly a year after revealing that she could not bear children because of endometriosis which causes menstrual pain.

She has had her fair share of controversy, including a sex tape she shot with her ex-boyfriend, Brian.

Following the leaking of the tape, she lost her job as a DJ at a local radio station.
