Dongo, Flame Lilly draw

RUSAPE - Tail-enders Dongo Sawmills and Flame Lilly played out a goalless draw in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Vengere Stadium yesterday that left both teams deep in the relegation zone.

Dongo remain bottom of the log with 13 points while the prison wardens are just one place above them with 15 points.

Dongo coach Shadreck Magurasave said: “We failed to convert many chances that came our way. In out next game we must be organised up-front. The battle for relegation is still there and we are not giving up.”

Flame Lilly coach Backfield Chiwenga said: “We were forced to change to suit Dongo’s type of play. This pitch is not as good as we wish. We won’t give up our fight against relegation. It’s a bullfight whoever is lucky gets maximum points. We will survive relegation. We take every game as it comes.”
