Tuku descends on Kadoma

HARARE - Music superstar Oliver Mtukudzi and Dendera musician Suluman Chimbetu will share the stage at Kadoma’s Odyssey Hotel tonight in one of the biggest gigs in Zimbabwe this weekend.

Before performing in Kadoma, Sulu will first perform at the HICC where he will share the stage with Jah Prayzah.

Tomorrow the Sean Timba singer will rock Upper 6 Night Club in Chitungiwza before winding up his weekend entertainment programme at Murewa Hotel on Sunday.

Tuku to serenade Pakare Paye

Tonight Tuku will first perform at his Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton after which he will go to Kadoma for the joint show with Sulu. At the Pakare Paye Concert, Tuku will be supported by Munyaradzi Nyamarebvu. Tomorrow, Nyamarebvu will again be at Pakare Paye where he will share the stage with the energetic Kessia Masona.

Charly Black to rock Harare

Jamaican artiste Charly Black will make a maiden performance in Zimbabwe tomorrow night at the Longcheng Plaza.

The Bubble Again singer will be supported by several local chanters who include Soul Jah Love, Freeman, Seh Calaz, Killer T and Kinnah. Several DJs including Templeman, Garry B, Merciless Zim and Cables will also perform at the event organised by Chipaz Promotions.

Macheso returns to Mutare

Tonight, sungura artiste Alick Macheso will be at The Platinum in Mutare after which he will perform at Pakare Paye in Norton tomorrow.

On Sunday Macheso will be at CSC in Chinhoyi after which he will return to Harare on Monday for a family show at Jongwe Corner.

The Tafadzwa hit-maker will wind up his hectic programme at this year’s edition of Defence Forces Day celebrations to be held at National Sports Stadium on Tuesday.

Powered to Worship to record DVD

Powered to Worship, a 40-member interdenominational gospel ensemble, will do a live DVD recording at Courtald Theatre tomorrow.

Powered to Worship will share the stage with Agatha Murudzwa and Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave in an event that kicks off at 1pm.

Farewell gig for Mugadza

Las Vegas will host a farewell gig for DJ Davis Mugadza tonight. The Power FM DJ has left the ZBC station for Zvishavane where he has been appointed General Manager of newly-licensed YAFM 91.8.

Polo in Mazowe

Zimbabwe Polo Open 2015 will begin at Thornpark Polo Grounds from 1pm today. Tomorrow the event will start at 11am and on the final day Sunday it will begin at 10am.

The Police Band will provide live entertainment .There will also be a Sunday night party and an exclusive ride and drive by Land Rover.

Ballet in Bulawayo

Raymonda, ballet from Moscow will be at Robert Sibson Hall, Bulawayo tonight from 630pm.

Kunonga, Alexio for Dandaro Inn

Afro-fusion star Victor Kunonga will share the stage with Alexio Kawara and Matarutse.

Sniper, Stunner in Marondera

Sniper Storm and Stunner will perform at Hope Fay Hall in Marondera at 2pm tomorrow. They will be supported by High Definition Dance Group, Ras Hood, Org Major and Sweezy.

Xtra and BaShupi in Mutare

Xtra Large and BaShupi will be at Golden Peacock Villa Hotel, Mutare tomorrow from 5pm.

Dancehall Queens in Victoria Falls

The Wild Thing Bar in Victoria Falls will present “Feel The Beat Of Subzer” tomorrow night that will feature Juwela, Ninja Lipsy and Empress Shelly.
