MH370 search: 'Plane seat' found on island

KUALA LUMPUR - A blue “plane seat” washed up on the same tiny island where wreckage thought to be a part of the wing from flight MH370 was found, it has been claimed.

Nicolas Ferrier reportedly said he was on his daily patrol of La Reunion picking up debris from the beach, when he spotted what he thought looked like a bus seat.

The island native said he found the seat in early May — along with suitcases which he burned after mistaking them for rubbish.

He told the Sunday Telegraph: “It wasn’t until Wednesday that it hit me what it could have been. It was probably part of that plane.”

The stunning claims come as wreckage that is thought to be from missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 arrived in France for investigators to examine.

The section of wing was found on the tiny island of La Reunion earlier this week and has been taken to France so experts can check it out and determine if it is from the doomed flight.

The section of wing is thought to come from a Boeing 777 plane — the same model that went missing last year with 239 people on board.

An Air France flight carrying the debris landed at Orly airport near Paris.

It will be delivered to a military unit near the southwest city of Toulouse which specialises in analysing aviation wreckage.

Experts hope the barnacled 2-2.5 metres long wing surface known as a flaperon and a fragment of luggage could yield clues as to the fate of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which vanished without trace in March 2014.

There were 239 passengers and crew on board, and some families of the victims are demanding further compensation from the airline.

Discovery of the debris may finally confirm the plane crashed into the sea after veering off course from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, helping to end 16 months of lingering uncertainty for relatives.

There is no prophesy there. It was just an obvious thing to anyone that if the plane didn't crash on the mountains definitely it was in the waters. Our prayer is with the families of the late loved ones.

Prophesy, if ever they was, would have averted the accident, not this cheap talk.
