Good job, Mildred Chiri

EDITOR — I take my hat off to the Auditor General Mildred Chiri for her commendable work that truly defines her as a genuine patriotic Zimbabwean.

She has been at the forefront of exposing huge cases of corruption, financial mismanagement and other underhand dealings involving top government officials at a time when even men themselves would be too scared to expose such cases.

Here is a lady who is intent on exposing the rot bedevilling this country, all in the hope of contributing to the development of her country despite all the odds staked against her as she is lacking the necessary support in the form of prosecutions and investigations of her findings.

This is very likely going to bring her many enemies from government for exposing their underhand dealings, but she has shown an amazing level of  courage.

I urge her to keep working to expose more of such dealings because one day, those findings shall be acted upon as this situation where corrupt elements in government enjoy protection from their equally corrupt government bosses will not last much longer.

I applaud her for such heroic efforts.

Exposing corruption doesn't help a thing if all it does is bring it to light if no justice is served. We all heard what Cuthbert Dube did at PSMAS yet he walks free and is now reigning over ZIFA.
