Bev in farewell bash

HARARE - Raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda aka Bev will say goodbye to her Zimbabwean fans on Thursday at Harare’s City Sports Bar.

She is leaving Harare on Tuesday for her maiden tour of Britain.

To see her off, several acts will perform at her farewell, among them her rival pole dancer Zoey, musicians Dr Tawanda, Lady Storm, Terminator and several dancers who include Manjenje Dancers and popular radio personality Pathisani Sibanda.

Speaking to the Daily News yesterday, Bev said she will have to step up her game when she performs in the United Kingdom next week.

Some of the Zimbabwean artistes who will go with her on the same tour include Seh Calaz, Ricky Fire, Terminator, and PTK.

They will perform in Leeds at West Indian Centre on July 24 and in Luton at Dunstable Leisure Centre on July 25.

This will be her first encounter with Britain, where she is expected to perform in Leeds and Luton together with five other acts from Zimbabwe.

“Yes they have not yet seen me perform live so the pressure is on me to impress,” Bev said.

She said the fact that she will not be accompanied by her sexy angels is not an issue.

“I used to perform alone, I am used to it so I will not have any problems, I will be mixing the singing and the dancing.”

The controversial dancer, who will be in the United Kingdom from 22 to 27 June, is happy to host the farewell party at City Sports Bar tomorrow.
