Jah Prayzah to light up Kadoma

HARARE - Red-hot Jah Prayzah will kick-start his weekend programme tonight at the Big Apple in Harare.

The Uzumba-born music star, whose latest album is dominating radio playlists and the club scene, will be supported by Double WekwaMarange.

Tomorrow, the Tsviriyo singer, who is currently attracting the biggest crowds on the local music scene, will descend on Kadoma Odyssey Hotel where he will share the stage with dendera artiste Tryson Chimbetu.

Young Igwe returns to Dandaro Inn

Kwekwe-based Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo and the Utakataka Express will perform at Dandaro Inn in the Harare Showgrounds tonight before taking his colourful outfit to Glendale tomorrow for a performance at Tsungubvi Beerhall.

Young Igwe will wind up his packed weekend programme on Sunday night at Club Paramount located at Chitungwiza’s Chikwanha shopping centre.

Macheso to headline Las Vegas celebrations

Popular entertainment joint, Las Vegas will celebrate its first anniversary with a high profile gig featuring sungura music ace Alick Macheso. The Tafadzwa singer will be supported by Lady Storm, Dr Zobha and DJ Flabba.

Sulu dates Shamva

Dendera musician Suluman Chimbetu and his Orchestra Dendera Kings will perform at Tippaz Night Club in Shamva tonight before returning to the capital city tomorrow for a gig at Londoners Sports Bar where he will share the stage with award-winning Zimdancehall star  Tocky Vibes.

On Sunday the Nyuchi singer will again team up with Tocky Vibes at a family show set for Extra Mile in Harare.

Zhakata continues birthday celebrations

Award-winning music star Leonard Zhakata, who recently turned 47, will take his belated birthday celebrations to Dandaro Inn tomorrow where his gig is expected to attract scores of the veteran musician’s followers.

Jazz vibes at Bar Rouge

Veteran jazz group Jabavu Drive will perform tonight at Bar Rouge situated at Long Chen Plaza.

Gary Tight to perform at New Ambassador

Rising music star Gary Tight will share the stage with upcoming stars Donald Kanyuchi and Munyaradzi Nyamarebvu at the New Ambassador hotel from 7pm.

Gweru lines up Golden Oldies Weekend

Gweru’s Antelope Park, Gweru will host the Golden Oldies weekend that will start tonight at 7pm and run until Sunday.

The event will kick off tonight with the Back Again Band while a buffet dinner and big party has been scheduled for tomorrow. Music from Queen, Santana, Tom Jones, Neil Dean and UB40 will be played.
