Lil Megaz lines up new video

HARARE – Award-winning gospel hip-hop rapper Zvikomborero Nyamandi, affectionately known in the music circles as Lil Megaz, is currently working on a new video featuring H2O.

The much-anticipated video titled Falling Down is slated to hit the market next week.

This video comes on the back his productions that include Zodzo, Chakachaya and NaJesu Tineyese.

Lil Megaz is convinced that his new video will excite music fans.

“It is a life-changing video. I am sure people are going to love it because we are doing what we love, showcasing what we believe in,” he told the Daily News.

“People should understand that situations in life come when you might fall down because trials will come but through Christ we are victors.

“Some people engage in pornography or alcohol addictions but God will still love you if you repent.”

Lil Megaz, who the “Best CD Artwork Award” at the Hip-Hop Gospel Awards held in Harare last year, added that God called him to do his work.

“l did not choose gospel hip-hop as  a way of just wanting to be in the genre, but God called me to minister his word through music.

“When l did my first single titled Call out His name l did not know that l would go far with gospel, but the response l got from the people told me that this was the right thing,” he said.

“I believe hip-hop has a positive side which is what l am trying to show as a young rapper.”

The 22-year-old Zodzo singer is also working on an Ep titled Hope that seeks to inspire Africa and beyond.
