HARARE - The Miss Zimbabwe Trust says it will dethrone current national queen Emily Kachote if investigations prove that her nude pictures are in circulation.
Tendai Chirau, Miss Zimbabwe Trust’s communications and programmes manager, told a press conference yesterday that should Kachote be dethroned first princess, Ann-Grace Mutambu would take over.

“We have a clause in the contracts they signed that they should not have posed naked and should not have that sort of content in any media form,” said Chirau.
“We are going to conduct investigations as the Trust to establish whether the pictures exist or not, as we speak we do not have them. We will have a position at the end of the week, as our chairperson Marry Chiwenga is not around. We will sit down with Emily and hear her side of the story,” he said.
Meanwhile Kachote has vehemently denied ever having any naked pictures taken.
“I did not have naked pictures of myself taken by anyone, and I am standing by my word that I do not have nude pictures anywhere,” she told the Daily News.
It is also alleged that Prosper Bvunzawabaya, who allegedly leaked the first Miss Zimbabwe 2014 Thabiso Phiri’s nude pictures last year, is behind the latest leak.
Yesterday Kachote confirmed knowing Bvunzawabaya denied that she ever dated him.
“He is not my ex, we have never dated. I used to drink with him but not to the levels of getting drunk. I also have never taken any naked pictures with him. I stopped drinking two years ago and I have never been drunk to the extent of not knowing what is happening round me,” she said.
It is also believed that Bvunzawabaya is using the nude pictures for blackmail purposes.
