Magaya cancels SA crusade

HARARE - Magaya says he was forced to cancel his maiden regional church crusade due to xenophobic attacks in neighbouring South Africa.

The plans for PHD Ministries’ crusade pencilled for South Africa were at an advanced stage but they have been thwarted by the unjustifiable killings of foreign nationals across Limpopo River.

Magaya told journalists on Friday at an all-men night long event themed Creating a Man with Power held in Harare that attracted more than 80 000 congregants.

“Our home affairs ministry has advised me to postpone the crusade because of the situation there (South Africa), they say we cannot do it now until we are certain that there is peace and freedom,” he said.

Man of God, you are wrongly advised on not going to South Africa. This was gona be the best time to go and cast out those demons. I hope you will urgently get better advice as soon as possible and hopefully not from home affairs. Africa needs you too bad man of God
