Byo Chiefs maintain fine form

HARARE – Southern Region Division One Soccer league log leaders Bulawayo Chiefs continued with their good start to the season after beating Hwange Under 20 2-0 over the weekend.

The Bulawayo outfit is yet to taste defeat this campaign after two rounds of action.

Chiefs started their season on a positive note beating Casmyn 3-0 in their first match of the season.

Ntabazinduna also managed to register a 100 percent start to season after beating Indlovu Iyanyathela 2-1.

They opened their season with a 3-0 win over NUST.

In the World Navi Northern Region Division One Soccer League, former Premiership side Gunners started their season on a promising note beating tricky Lake Harvest 1-0.

Gunners, who were runners-up last season, will be hoping to return to the top flight league this season after two seasons’ stay in division one.

Ngezi Platinum were the biggest winners over the weekend after walloping newly-promoted Zatex 4-0.
