Triangle hold Buffaloes

RUSAPE - Buffaloes and Triangle shared the spoils in an evenly contested Castle Premiership match here which ended 1-1 yesterday.

Lloyd Katongomara scored the opening goal of the match for Buffaloes when riffled home off a loose ball inside the box after 34 minutes.

Second half substitute Hillary Bakacheza levelled the scores for the Triangle 15 minutes from time after reacting first to fire home following a goal-mouth scramble.

Buffaloes coach, Joseph Tangaringofa was disappointed with the result.

“We should have won the match but we failed to defend our lead and we are going to address it at training,’’ said Takaringofa.

Triangle coach Kelvin Kaindu was disappointed that his side failed to build on their opening weekend 5-2win over Hwange by dropping points yesterday.

“We were hoping to even score more goals after scoring five past Hwange,” he said.
