Govt must build more schools

EDITOR — Many parents are suffering at the hands of corrupt school heads who are fleecing them of their hard-earned cash in order to secure places for their children in schools.

It has become a nightmare for parents to secure places for Grade One, Form One and Lower Six.

School heads appear to make it difficult for one to get enrolled in schools but once money exchanges hands, it becomes easy.

Where are we heading to with such levels of corruption?

May government, please, build more schools that are affordable to the majority of  suffering Zimbabweans.

The general Zimbabwean has developed a shocking moral of wanting to bribe any situation presented to them to get their way. it is surprising that most parents have money upfront to lure the responsible authority to dance to their tune. This being said it does not mean there are no corrupt school heads, they are there. As the editor highlighted earlier, this can only be reduced incidence if number of schools in districts are increased, especially in rural ares
