'Baba Jukwa' further remand refusal bid denied

HARARE - A Harare magistrate yesterday dismissed suspended The Sunday Mail editor Edmund Kudzayi’s application for refusal of further remand.

Magistrate Milton Serima said the matter could not just be dropped because it was complex.

He said the State’s efforts to garner mutual legal assistance from United States of America showed the possibility of progress in the matter.

The matter was further remanded to May 29, pending investigations.

Kudzayi is believed to be linked to the shadowy Facebook character Baba Jukwa.

He is facing charges of attempting to subvert a constitutionally-elected government, banditry, insurgency and demeaning the office of the President.

He is jointly charged with his brother Phillip.

Through their lawyer Tungamirai Chakurira, who represented them on behalf of Admire Rubaya, the duo gave notice of making another application for further remand refusal if not served with a trial date during their next court appearance.

You know the Lord tells us that we shall know the truth and that the truth shall set us free. I do not believe any amount of jailing, threats, oppression etc will now suppress the truth that must come out if we are to be set free as a nation. I pray the Lord blows the lid/cover on all evil and sinful and hidden sin in Zimbabwe: in leadership, in the church and else where. We need to repent! I think Him for the exposing that is already taking place. It is better to face our sin here on earth than face an eternity in damnation!

Zanu pf thugocrats hate, extort, assault, & murder white people and Americans / westerners. These thieving lying ZANU hypocrites are the first to siphon or beg for assistance from these people - their sworn enemies. Why do ZAnu pf deadbeats like Gono, Chinamasa, Police Commissioner Augustine Chihuri, Ignatius Morgan Chombo, Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku etc. send their siblings . dependents to countries like America and Australia. It is time that the people of the civilized free world tell Zanu pf cadres to give themselves a caustic enema and s**** off.
