Ringo, Tuku set for Byo

HARARE - South African music star Ringo Madlingozi and Zimbabwean music superstar Oliver Mtukudzi will perform at a pre-Valentine’s Day bash set for the City Hall in Bulawayo tonight.

The two talented artists, who last shared the stage in the City of Kings about a decade ago, hogged the limelight in 1999 when they collaborated on the hit Into Yami.

They will share the stage with DJ Josh, DJ Keith and Dash Zimbabwe.

Cassper Nyovest to hold maiden Zim concert

South African hip-hop star Cassper Nyovest will perform in Zimbabwe for the first time on Valentine’s Day at the newly established 1+1 Club located at Longchen Plaza.

The award-winning Doc Shebeleza hit-maker will share the stage with Tehn Diamond, Pee-Kay and Seh Calaz.

Sulu returns to Book Café

Suluman Chimbetu and the Orchestra Dendera Kings will return to the Book Café stage tonight to entertain revellers at the highly-anticipated pre-Valentine’s  party.

On Valentine’s Day Sulu will share the stage with Josphat Somanje at New Life Night Club in Harare’s Budiriro Suburb.

Reggae comes to dining point

Tomorrow night Dining Point will rock to Chigiyo roots reggae from Kwekwe’s Zig Zag Band and Ragga Manyika from Mutare’s Assegai crew.

The two bands will share the stage with Mufakose-based Afro-fusion band Gwarimba in a gig that has been dubbed ‘Afro Love Valentine Ball.’
