Zim Under-19 seal series win

HARARE - The Zimbabwe Under-19 sealed a 2-1 series win over the visiting Namibia Under-19 after winning yesterday final match by three wickets at Old Hararians Sports Club.

Zimbabwe had won the first match of the series by one wicket on Sunday but were put to the sword by the visitors, who won the second match on Monday by 40 runs.

Yesterday, Namibia won the toss and chose to bat first before reaching 152 all out inside 49.1 overs.

Opener Tiaan Steenkamp top scored for the visitors as he was just three runs shy off a half century before he was run out by a combination of wicket keeper Lawrence Mangwenzi and Blessing Mavuta. 

Zimbabwe chased down the total and reached 153 for seven inside 40.3 overs.

Brendan Sly with 33 and captain Ryan Murray 31 top scored for the hosts.
