HARARE - Rising Zimbabwean tennis star Rufaro Chirewa progressed to the doubles semifinals of the ongoing Nairobi International Junior Championships IV in Kenya.

Chirewa won the girls doubles with her Kenyan partner Stephanie Mbaya.

The pair beat top seeds Vicky Geurinckx and Lexie Stevens of The Netherlands 3-6, 6-4, (10-4).
