Thrills, spills as 2014 closes down

HARARE - Superlabel will tonight host several Zimdancehall artistes who will certainly usher us into 2015.

Zimdancehall singers including Freeman, Kinnah, Lady Squanda, Mostaff, Genious and Bobo Fire will invade Superlabel and close the year 2014 in style.

Shumba, Sulu to thrill Mutare

Mutare-based award winning gospel musician Blessing Shumba is going to share the stage with dazzling Suluman Chimbetu today at Pick N Save.

The potentially-explosive gig is expected to draw both gospel and dendera (sungura) loving fans across the Eastern mountainous town.

Both artistes are highly-rated with their new releases.

Chimbetu’s Gunship is already causing waves on the market, while fans are not getting enough of Shumba’s Holy Psalms.

Tomorrow, January 1, 2015 the Sean Timba singer will be performing at Jongwe Corner in the capital during the day with Soul Jah Love.

Macheso returns to the capital

After criss-crossing the country, sungura ace Alick Macheso and his Orchestra Mberikwazvo outfit have finally settled for Harare and on New Year’s eve today.

The sungura star will be performing at Ice and Fire Pamuzinda before closing his festive holiday concerts at Dandaro Inn in Harare’s Agricultural Show Society’s grounds on January 1, 2015.

Pastor Haisa in comeback concert

Yesteryear gospel musicians Pastor Lawrence Haisa and David Mabvuramiti are set to entertain worshippers at the annual Victory Power International Ministries’ Cross Over Night in Chitungwiza today.

The two artistes are expected to take thousands of congregants at Limbani Shopping Centre at Zengeza 5 down memory lane as they have promised to belt out yesteryear hits such as Uchava Mufaro, among others.

Pastor Haisa recently collaborated with rising artiste Sabastian Magacha on a song he promised to perform at the event.

Jah Prayzah dates Bulawayo

The Tsviriyo singer is expected to perform in Bulawayo today at Club Royal before returning to the capital where he will play at Extra Mile on January 1.

New Year’s Eve on fire

The Centurian will from 5pm tonight host the Afro House Night which will see people party all the way into 2015.

Club H2O will be hosting another New Year’s party, spoiling revellers for choice.

Kariba gets into 2015 in style

At Charara Nite Club from 6-30pm there will be the battle of the DJs party, bringing much needed entertainment to the resort town.

The Dj line-up includes Dj Harshai Bhana, Dj Patch, Dj Loopie.

Skyy Bar hosts Shisha Wednesdays

The hottest club in town, Skyy Bar will host their Shisha Wednesdays.

Revellers will be entertained the whole night as they get into the New Year.

Zimpraise Concert

Zimpraise Choir will hold the Revelation Reloaded Concert featuring Sharon Manyonganise.

It will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre.

New Year Concert

Robert Sibson Hall, Bulawayo will host a traditional new year concert by Daniel Barenboin.
