Buffaloes Juniors win PSL promotion

RUSAPE - Eastern Region Division One Soccer League side Buffaloes Juniors secured promotion into the Castle Premiership after beating Mwenezana 3-1 here yesterday.  

Vincent Makaha scored a brace while Evans Chikwaikwai weighed in with the other goal for the Mutare side to win the promotion ticket into the top-flight, where they will join senior side Buffaloes net year.                           

Mwenezana scored their consolation goal trough Innocent Mashamba.   

Buffaloes Juniors complete the list of four promoted teams after Flame Lilly, Whawaha and Tsholotsho also booked their places.   

They finish with a total 67 points, two ahead of Mutare City.

“We achieved this because of working hard,” said coach Shadreck Mugurasave.

“We are obviously delighted, and I would want to say tough luck to Mutare City.”

Rules do not allow but in Zim you can get anything. Administrators in Zim are not proactive and many a time they have been found on the wrong side of things. To give an example in the Asiagate innocent players and coaches were caught in the crossfire while the perpetrators walked scotfree.
