My prayer for Zim

EDITOR — Here is my prayer for Zimbabwe. Lord, today we pray, no, we cry out that in all your mercy and grace you will raise up a man to lead Zimbabwe; a man after Your own heart.

A man that will bring you honour and glory because Zimbabwe in its present state only brings you great dishonour.

We dishonour the name of Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We call ourselves Christians, we go to church, we read our Bibles, we abuse Your holy name from many different forums and yet we fail to be an expression of Christ.

We are a sinful nation and that is why Your righteous judgment falls on this nation. Lead us into repentance Lord. Pour out Your Godly sorrow upon us so that we may truly repent and be restored; not for our sake but only for your namesake: so that the glory of God may be seen in Zimbabwe. Amen

I love your letter. "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." We seek a leader who fears God. Non of our current political leaders meets this requirement.

Believe it or not mudhara, the Mugabe was ordained by God and in due course God will raise another one, as for now the only one person God is pleased with is His Excellence, commander in chief of the ZDF, Cde R,G. Mugabe.
