Carl Joshua to star in game show

HARARE - Comedian Carl Joshua Ncube will warm up for his tour of Australia early next month by taking part in Bang Bang Game Show at Alliance Francaise tomorrow before hosting a farewell party at the Book Café on Saturday.

Ncube, who has steadily risen to become one of Zimbabwe’s leading comedians, will take part in the African Comedy Festival which will take place in the Australian cities of Perth, Melbourne and Sydney from November 7 to 9.

Tomorrow’s Bang Bang Game Show which will feature Michael K, Q The Boss, Phil Chard, Jay Boss, DJ Naida, Shahla Brown and the host Comrade Fatso, is expected to provide a perfect platform for Ncube to perfect his act in preparation for his tour of Australia.

Apart from stand-up comedians, The Bang Bang Game line-up will also include radio DJs, bloggers and musicians.

The night will be set in motion by Ncube before the game show kicks off with the players being put into two teams led by captains Q The Boss and Michael K.

The host Comrade Fatso will ask them weird questions gleaned from current affairs and history expected to attract hilarious and dumb answers from the competing teams.

The initiative is part of Magamba Network Zimbabwe’s diverse programmes that include Peace in the

Hood Series of concerts, Bang-Bang comedy club, Zambezi News TV, Hub Un-conferences and Shoko Festival.
