Mhere promises fireworks at PHD Ministries bash

HARARE - Gospel musician Mathias Mhere is looking forward to impressing at the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries’ Night of Turn Around 3 event.

The event is a joint celebration with the PHD ministries founder Walter Magaya’s birthday celebrations which will be held on November 7.

The event will see a number of the most celebrated artistes such as South African Benjamin Dube, Agatha Murudzwa, Flame B, Sebastian Magacha, Tembalami, Francis Hawi and Yadah Voices, performing.

“I am happy to perform at such a big platform; this is going to be an opportunity to interact with different artistes,” Mhere said.

“The PHD Ministries draws people from different countries hence it is an opportunity to market Zimbabwean music. In terms of performance we are certain that we are going to give well rehearsed acts and it will be fireworks.”

Dube, the South African El shaddai Adonai star is not performing in the country for the first time but he has graced a number of events in Harare.

Talent Mango the church administrator said preparations for the event were at an advanced stage.

“We are expecting thousands of people to attend the third edition of Night of Turn Around. The event is going to change people’s lives for the better,” said Mango.

Dube, whose accolades include the Gospel Legend Award, Best Song of Praise in 2008 and Best Worship Album in 2007 among others boasts of over 15 albums including Healing in His Presence.

The South African international musician-cum-pastor has more than 30 years of experience in the music industry.

He has worked with a number of popular artistes such as Judith Sephuma, Pastor Meyi Zimu, Solly Mahlangu, Avante, Rebecca Malope and Sechaba among others.
